Two months after returning from a working holiday in the UK, 20-year-old Amelia was finding it difficult securing employment. Originally, Amelia worked as a Nanny both in the UK and here at home in Victoria, Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy prevented her from returning to similar roles. Amelia was struggling to find employment outside of her experience and needed further assistance to widen her job search opportunities. This is when she registered and commenced with atWork Australia in Richmond and met Tim, her Disability Employment Services Job Coach. Today, Amelia is happily working and looking forward to her future.
