Small business manager, Leanne, does not have a lot of time to spend on recruitment.
She manages the day-to-day running of her fuel and convenience store, Fresh Trading Co, based in Northam, Western Australia.
When she needed a new team member, a colleague recommended atWork Australia to her.
At first, Leanne was unsure. She was expecting to have to complete a lot of paperwork to access support from an employment services provider.
She quickly realised this was not the case at all, in fact it was a stress-free process which Leanne says ended in a great result.
“The process was straightforward, and their communication made everything so easy to manage,” said Leanne.
Leanne dropped into the atWork Australia office in Northam, and explained what she was looking for, the role and the culture of the business.
Within a week, she had an interview lined up with a ready to work candidate, Jak. Jak has now completed his trial shift and has been offered a role with the team.
“We are looking forward to our new team member, Jak, becoming a valuable part of our team,” said Leanne.
21-year-old, Jak, had come to atWork Australia with the right attitude for work. He had already been screened by the atWork Australia team including a CV check.
Once he landed the role, atWork Australia purchased him work related clothing so he was ready to begin on his first day.
“We offered Jak, flexible working hours to help him settle in. We’re committed to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive,” said Leanne.
“atWork Australia make the hiring process easier by connecting you to job ready candidates who meet your needs,” said Leanne.
