What to expect in the recruitment process
atWork Australia conducts and pays for all Police Checks; however, we obtain your written consent beforehand. A person’s police history does not preclude employability unless the offence is relevant to the role. Please see our Dispute Handling Process. For interview, we may ask you to complete a Police check application and consent form. It is best to bring as many of your original identity documents to the interview for sighting. These need to show proof of your full name, address, date of birth, and photograph. Documents such as your birth certificate, passport, Visa/ImmiCard, Australian citizenship, Australian driver’s licence, marriage certificate, vehicle registration, student identification card, Medicare card, credit cards, etc. will be useful to bring.
atWork Australia pays for all Working with Children Checks.
Please download your National Police Check Consent form here.
atWork Australia may arrange for you to sit an online psychological test provided externally.
