Workforce Australia client, Bettina, was trying to go it alone to find employment but wasn’t having much success.
She connected to atWork Australia and quickly she felt like she was making greater strides towards employment.
Bettina’s Job Coach, Krystal, could see Bettina’s desire to work, and quickly referred her to an upcoming employer information session with employer, Madec.
Meeting with an employer, improved Bettina’s confidence and she felt like a job would soon be possible. Bettina’s long-term goal was to find a job she could stay in until retirement.
Krystal supported Bettina to gain her working with children check and CV check to be ready for work.
Bettina expressed she would be interested in a cleaning role.
Krystal, with the assistance of the employer engagement team, was able to refer Bettina to two roles.
One of the interviews was in Hindmarsh, and atWork Australia supported her with transport assistance to attend the interview.
“Bettina was becoming more positive with someone by her side to help her succeed in upskilling and finding employment,” said Job Coach Krystal.
Bettina successfully landed a role and is now working with the atWork Australia team to ensure she has all the appropriate work-related items while she awaits her first shift.
“Having Job Coach, Krystal, gives me a positive outlook. I believe that getting a job is achievable. With great help by my side, I’m not alone to struggle finding a job,” said Bettina.
