Workforce Australia client, Intssar, is 17 years old. Having recently left high school; she was eager to find her own path but didn’t know where to start.
Without any previous work experience, Intssar was unsure about her future.

Intssar expressed her interest in childcare and was supported by atWork Australia to enroll in short courses to boost her skills in the industry.
Within a month of starting with atWork Australia, Intssar had been connected to a part time role as a teacher’s aide.
“We connected Intssar to an employer we have previously worked with, who we know has a supportive environment for young starters,” said Shehadeh.
atWork Australia supported Intssar to purchase professional work clothing to start in her new role.
Intssar is now balancing working part time with continuing her learning to further enhance her career in childcare.
“In such as short time, she is gaining both experience and independence,” said Shehadeh.
“The right guidance at the right time, has supported Intssar to find her first job and future career path,” said Shehadeh.
