Workforce Australia client, Logan, had a dream of performing his music onstage to a live audience. His passion is music, and his goal is to perform in pubs and clubs.
Logan lives with anxiety, stress, and has trouble sleeping well. His health and wellbeing had been impacting his ability to find suitable employment. Logan had been looking for work for the past seven years.
He met his Job Coach, Tara, who got to know him and his goals. To support Logan, build his confidence to reach his long-term goal of performing in clubs, together they decided to pursue hospitality work.
This would support Logan to begin to feel comfortable and used to the venue’s he would one day perform in. He could also build industry connections, and have the opportunity to perform in his place of employment.

Logan was supported by atWork Australia’s in house Wellness Services for support with his health and wellbeing.
atWork Australia connected Logan to a course to gain his responsible service of alcohol (RSA) and responsible gambling certificate (RSG). Logan worked through his barriers to successfully complete the required training, bringing him another step closer to his goals.
“Completing these courses has significantly improved Logan’s motivation and self-belief that he can achieve his dream of performing live music in pubs and clubs,” said Tara.
“By doing what makes me happy, it improves the light for my future, it shines brighter. Using that shine, I can see what I am meant to do,” said Logan.
“I’m looking forward to building a future where I can play music to bring joy to others,” said Logan.
