“Don’t bother about me, I’m a lost cause.” These were some of the first words Jordan, said about herself when she first connected with atWork Australia in Salisbury.
Jordan had low self-belief. She had been battling addiction, and unemployment for the past four years, and had little certainty about her future.
Job Coach, Christine, saw something in Jordan she couldn’t see in herself just yet. She worked with Jordan, taking the time to get to know her before launching into employment referrals.
Christine believed in Jordan, and they started with small steps towards employment. Jordan was enrolled in a Certificate II in Warehouse Operations.

Apprehensive at first, Jordan was grateful Christine believed in her and was excited to apply for the job.
