23-year-old client, Zac, first connected with atWork Australia in 2023. After a few months working with his Job Coach, he gained work as a sales assistant.
He no longer needed atWork Australia’s support, but a few years later, Zac, choose to return to atWork Australia for assistance when he was no longer working.
Since we had last seen him, Zac, had worked hard on upskilling, including enrolling in TAFE, and working on gaining his drone licence.
He wanted a change in pace from retail, so Job Coach, Nicole, supported him to gain new tickets including a white card and forklift ticket.
He is also being supported with driving lessons so he can work towards gaining his driver’s licence.
Once again, it wasn’t long before a determined Zac, gained employment, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the company he just started working at closed.
To keep up the momentum, Zac was connected to Employer Engagement Consultant, Kersty, who was able to connect Zac with a new opportunity.
Kersty had Zac come into the office to participate in a practice interview. Thanks to this practice, Zac excelled in his interview and landed the job.
