When Mary first connected with atWork Australia she was living without stable accommodation. She also had no drivers licence and no identification, making it challenging to find employment.
Mary shared with her Job Coach, Christine, that her priority was to find somewhere safe and stable to live. From here she could look at employment within walking distance, or on a public transport line nearby.
Christine referred Mary to Housing Trust South Australia for assistance to find stable housing.
Mary was also supported with hygiene packs, clothing and public transport top ups to get to and from her appointments.
While she was waiting on stable accommodation, Mary participated in our Jobs for the Mob program which supported Mary to gain much needed identification for both her housing goals and future employment needs.
