Single mother of four children, Laura, was motivated to return to work. She wanted greater financial stability for her family.
She shared with her Job Coach, Tammy, that she was open to exploring a range of industries, and roles.
Laura was keen to open her possibilities by participating in upskilling and training courses.
Together, Tammy and Laura, considered a range of industries and job opportunities. Laura decided to pursue Traffic Control.

Laura was referred to upskilling opportunities to prepare her for a career in Traffic Control. She successfully completed her White Card, First Aid, and CPR qualifications.
She then participated in a Traffic control course.
“Laura was motivated to make a positive change and was committed to finding a suitable job that would allow her to build on her skills and achieve her employment goals,” said Tammy.
So, when Laura began to become discouraged and disappointed about finding employment, she was referred to our inhouse Wellness Services to support her confidence.

“Despite experiencing setbacks and feeling discouraged, Laura successfully gained employment in an industry she enjoys,” said Tammy.
“I’m so happy to be employed and have the work I have wanted for so long. Tammy’s encouragement and persistence made a huge difference.”
