Workforce Australia client, Peter, had been going through some hard times. He had lost his licence and was living in his car.
His second car, a prized possession, had to be sold to pay to store his belongings, while he searched for stable accommodation.
After paying for the storage, Peter had very little finances left.
He was connected to Job Coach, Farii, sharing that he just wanted to find employment quickly to help with his housing situation.
Peter was connected to atWork Australia’s in house Wellness Services for support with his overall wellbeing.
Farii got to work right away, calling employers and advocating on Peter’s behalf. He shared Peter’s details with atWork Australia’s Employer Engagement Consultant, Mika.
Soon Mika had an opportunity with a Freight company as a delivery driver. Together Mika, and Farii prepared Peter for the interview and he was offered the job.
Farii then financially supported Peter with public transport top ups and purchase warm socks and a jacket so Peter could arrive at work warm and comfortable.
