Client Sian commenced with atWork Australia in August 2020 during the peak of COVID-19 and like many others, Sian found herself unemployed. Sian had an employment history in hospitality however, with her current medical conditions, combined with the impact that COVID-19 had on hospitality, Sian was looking for extra assistance, mentoring and career re-direction.
Sian worked with her Job Coach Sophie who began by building on Sian’s confidence. This was achieved through developing her resume and cover letter as well as assisting her with job searching, advocating Sian to potential employers on her behalf and offering positive encouragement.
