Anna reached out to atWork Australia in 2021 with a goal of developing her confidence and was keen to secure a role she could thrive in.
Anna was living with arthritis, chronic pain and mental health conditions, she also had limited work experience. She needed assistance with her resume and job applications.
Anna met her Job Coach, Olivia, at her local atWork Australia office in Carrum Downs, Victoria. Anna told her Job Coach that due to her concentration/memory limitation, she felt that she is not capable of carrying out many tasks. Olivia supported Anna and encouraged her to recognise her skills and create a great resume.
Olivia motivated Anna and worked with her to create a resume, highlighting Anna’s skills and attributes. Further, Anna’s Job Coach referred her to suitable employment opportunities where Anna could also spend time with her children.
With Olivia’s assistance, Anna secured a Call Centre Team Member role at Probe Group. atWork Australia and Olivia supported Anna to provide equipment and financial assistance for childcare. Olivia was always there for Anna and reassuring Anna of her wonderful achievements to keep her motivated towards achieving her goal. After being successful, Anna commenced with her new role within 24 hours.

Anna continues to call her Job Coach during her employment journey and Olivia encourages her to keep going. Anna has been motivated and encouraged by her Job Coach to achieve great things.
