Claudio (56) started working with Job Coach, Sarah, from the Campbelltown, NSW atWork Australia office.
He is a full-time carer to his mother and his grandchildren and lives with Chrons disease.
While Claudio was great at looking after others, he hadn’t had much time to keep up to date with the technological updates of job searching
He was ready to return to work but was unsure of the labour market, the best ways to apply for jobs and he struggled with his confidence with it all.
When he did start to attend interviews, he became worried on how he could meet the requirements of the role while completing his caring duties and looking after his health.

They worked on job readiness together, including learning how to apply for jobs online, emailing and messaging employers.
When Claudio landed a part-time role, Sarah helped Claudio with his online induction and training before he started.
“We work together, coming up with ideas and celebrating every achievement toward his goals,” said Sarah
“Claudio is now working part-time in a medical centre which is helping him gain an income he needs to have some freedom.”
