Emilie, 35 has Bipolar Affective Disorder and found it difficult to find a role she loved and that also supported her mental health.
Emilie was unemployed for one year when she connected with atWork Australia’s Disability Employment Services in Ballarat, VIC.
Emilie struggled to get work despite having relevant experience and ample qualifications until she met with Job Coach, Chanel.
Emilie came from a very scientific background, previously working in research and agriculture. Her resume reflected these roles and did not accurately portray Emilie’s suitability for a role in a way that was easily digestible by a recruiter or employer.
Chanel assisted with simplifying, restructuring, and emphasising key skills in Emilie’s resume that would make her suitable for the admin roles that she was seeking.
