GOSNELLS – atWork Australia’s ParentsNext and Work for the Dole teams, together with two local community organisations, have come together this Christmas to help parents in need.

Jacqui D’Vine, atWork Australia’s ParentsNext Manager, said ‘Many of the parents in our program are doing it tough this time of year. A Christmas hamper for their family is just a small gesture to help put a smile on their face.’

30 Christmas hampers containing essential food items were donated by Margaret Court Community Outreach in Osborne Park, and another 30 Food Bank hampers were donated by C3 Church in Joondalup. These hampers contained items that would help make Christmas day brighter for families in need, such as food, toys for the children, party streamers and Christmas food items.
