Stephanie met fortnightly with Libby to help her understand the requirements of a workplace and the expectations of employers. Together they identified and applied for several suitable options, including an assistant role in a café in the nearby beachside suburb.

After a successful interview with the café owners, much to Libby’s surprise she was offered a job.

Since starting work, Libby has adapted well to her daily tasks and has already received fantastic feedback from her employers about the effort she is putting in and her willingness to learn.

“She’s kicking goals and shown great initiative and willingness for her employment to work,” Stephanie said.

In the near future, Libby hopes to learn the till which will allow her to then work in all aspects of the business.

She’s very grateful to atWork Australia and Stephanie for all their help in securing her a job.
