Pornthip (49) is from Thailand and has been unemployed for 2 years. Pornthip’s last job was in cleaning and she was very keen to find work as a Kitchen Hand.

Kylie assisted Pornthip with discussing roles that may be suitable for her and aligning them with her interests. They decided to look for jobs in a kitchen rather than cleaning jobs as they may be less physical. Kylie saw an advertisement for a Kitchen Hand online and was able to secure a Kitchen Hand role for Pornthip.
atWork Australia assisted in purchasing clothes and shoes to assist Pornthip in her new role. Kylie further assisted Pornthip in her interview skills.
When Kylie told Pornthip about her new role she was “over the moon.”
