Preparing to start a new role can be more expensive than anticipated, especially when you have been unemployed for a period of time.

Kate from Munno Para in South Australia was connected with atWork Australia’s Workforce Australia team.

She worked with Job Coach, Duane, for support to start in a new role.

Unemployed for almost a year, Kate landed herself an interview as a Client Relationship Consultant, however the application included supplying a Police and NDIS check.

“Kate found a role, but she needed support gaining all the paperwork and equipment to do the job,” said Job Coach Duane.

“I assisted with the cost of the NDIS background and police check.”

“We were also able to support Kate with transport into the CBD for her interview.”
