Jobs for the Mob supported Workforce Australia client, Rhiannon to feel more prepared to engage in the workforce.
Rhiannon’s, Job Coach, Kaniz from the Menai office, referred her into the program as part of her tailored support plan.
“Rhiannon and I worked on a tailored plan to support her into employment,” said Kaniz.
“I shared all the ways atWork Australia can support her into her goal of working in Customer Service, and we landed on starting with the Jobs for the Mob program to help with her resume writing, and job searching.”
Jobs for the Mob supports Indigenous clients with the foundational skills in preparing to engage in the workforce.
Rhiannon really enjoyed the goal setting, resume writing, and financial planning parts of the program.
“Rhiannon is now feeling confident to seek positions in the customer service industry,” said Kaniz.

Rhiannon is now using her new computer skills and knowledge to effectively job search, and complete on-line applications.
