Workforce Australia client, Sheridan, started working with Job Coach, Shabnam, in the Mirrabooka, atWork Australia office in Western Australia, just over a year ago.
Shabnam took the time to get to know Sheridan; listening to her story to understand her.

Sheridan had previously worked in landscaping, and it was work she enjoyed, but she hadn’t been able to sustain her employment.
After having repeated discussions with Sheridan, Shabnam discovered that Sheridan was becoming more interested in conversations about how she could take control of her future.
Shabnam referred Sheridan to our in-house Wellness Services to gain further support for her health and wellbeing.
While she was receiving this support, Shabnam also referred Sheridan to Businessplex where she was trained on self-employment.

Sheridan is now working for herself in the landscaping industry.
