When he first connected with Job Coach, Rachel, at the Melton, Victoria, atWork Australia office he needed support with his health and wellbeing.
Rachel spent her first appointment with Disability Employment Services client, Khadananda, connecting him to the support services he needed.
After a few appointments, Khadananda was beginning to improve his health and wellbeing and indicated to Rachel he wanted regular appointments to stay on track.
Rachel organised weekly appointments with Khadananda and was impressed by his commitment to finding meaningful and sustainable employment.
After maintaining his sobriety, Khadananda landed a role as a full-time delivery driver.
atWork Australia supported Khadananda to purchase a uniform for his new role and continue to support him through In-Work support.
“Khadananda is now living in secure housing. He is living a healthy lifestyle and is still coming in for his regular appointments,” said Rachel.

“I have been with atWork Australia for a year now. I was in a bad way and Rachel took the time out of her day to connect me to services to help me. I honestly wouldn’t know where I would be if it wasn’t for the support and guidance from Rachel,” said Khadananda.
