atWork Australia’s jobactive teams have been busy this past week, hosting not one but THREE Youth Hubs in Perth’s southern suburbs.
In total across the three hubs (held at Cannington, Rockingham, and Midland) we had over 150 job seekers attend in person and many booked job interviews with employers (one job seeker even secured a new role starting tomorrow!).
Dozens of job seekers also enrolled in training courses or booked in for a style session with Dress for Success. Jobactivator kept their computers very busy, helping jobseekers with their resumes.
It was great to see some really amazing networking again with the organisations that attended, including North Metro Tafe, Centrelink, Greenhouse Training, Go Catalyst, Bridging the Gap, Multicultural Services Centre, Techforce, and Women’s health and family services.
We are also proud to hear that many of the organisations in attendance felt atWork Australia was really leading the way with these initiatives.
