Julie worked with Johannes to support him job search online as well as providing support to contact employers. Together, they created Johannes a resume and wrote multiple cover letters for several jobs.
When Johannes was unsuccessful gaining a position as a cleaner with one company, Johannes and Julie went searching; calling multiple employers for other opportunities.
Julie worked hard to ensure Johannes maintained his motivation, despite the setbacks he encountered. Julie spent time to make sure Johannes’ mental wellness was not impacted.
Johannes started one job, however, when it was not as expected, Julie helped look for new employment opportunities.
Johannes did not give up hope.
Then, Johannes was offered part-time employment as a Utility Cleaner. Johannes was happy and started straight away. He was keen to get back into the swing of things.
Johannes sometimes returns to the atWork Australia office and sings praises of Julie and the team.
Johannes was unemployed for two years and was excited to have been given the opportunity.
